Raising Children Through Songs, Stories and Books

 

Languages: Mandarin or Cantonese

 

Target: Family with children aged 0-5

 

Content:

Level 1 (Total of 10 sessions):

Purpose: Through songs, stories, books, crafts and games, the program
           aims at promoting and enhancing family literacy skills of
           parents/grandparents and children as well as strengthening
           relationships and communication between parents/grandparents
           and their children/grandchildren

 

Level 2 (Total of 10 sessions):

Purpose: Through daily life activities such as songs, stories, books, crafts and games, to develop parents and children‘s relationship. This program is open for family who had already joined our level 1 program and welling to enrich their literacy skills with their children.

 

Level 3 (Total of 6 sessions)

Purpose: This program is open for family who had already joined our level 2 grogram because this level of program will separate Parents and children. Childcare will be provided. Parents will using basic materials to DIY a story books. Parents can use their skills to make story books with their children at home.

 

Fees: $10 per family (free for low-income family)
