DEFINITIONS
"BOARD OF DIRECTORS" means the committee of directors that is responsible for the Society;
"COMMUNITY" means the area in the city of Edmonton and its vicinity as designated from time to time by the Board of Directors;
"DIRECTOR" means a member of the board of Directors;
"HABITUAL RESIDENCE" means a residence that is declared by a member to be its temporary or permanent, situated in Alberta, Canada;
"RESOLUTION" means a decision made in a meeting by a majority of votes;
"SOCIETY" means ASSIST Community Services Centre;
"SPECIAL RESOLUTION" means a decision made
(a) At a general meeting with at least a 75% majority of votes; or
(b) A decision made by consent of all members present at a general meeting, if the notice is less than 21 days is given for the meeting
